About the game
Block Blast takes the classic falling-block idea and puts it on an 8×8 grid. Each turn you get three pieces and must place them wherever they fit; complete a row or column and it clears, freeing up space.
Scoring rewards planning: clearing several lines at once gives combo bonuses, and keeping a streak going multiplies points. The game ends when none of your pieces fit, so it pays to leave useful gaps.
Besides the classic mode there is an adventure mode with increasingly hard levels and daily puzzles with rewards. It works offline, which makes it a good travel companion. It is free, with in-app purchases and an optional subscription.
